Miqdad Abdurrauf Olamilekan, Research Assistant

Miqdad Abdurrauf Olamilekan received his B.Eng. in Mechatronics Engineering from The Nile University of Nigeria in 2025, graduating with First Class Honours. He is currently working as a Remote Research Assistant at the Intelligent Mobility and Robotics Lab at the University of New Brunswick. His research interests include Autonomous Ground Vehicles, Intelligent Control Systems, and Embedded Robotics. He has developed and implemented multi-layered control architectures for AGVs. He previously interned at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) and the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), contributing to projects in Digital Twin Technology, Space Systems, and Machine Learning. His current work focuses on localization, sensor fusion, and real-time embedded control for autonomous systems.
